ABOUT US
The Puerto Rico Washington DC Educational Alliance Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities and creating pathways for leadership, cultural exchange, and community empowerment between Puerto Rico and Washington, DC. Through educational initiatives, mentorship programs, and strategic partnerships, we connect youth and underserved communities with resources that promote academic growth, professional development, and long-term social impact.
Recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) under EIN 41-3271180, our foundation works to bridge communities across Puerto Rico and Washington, DC by fostering collaboration in education, leadership, arts, culture, and civic engagement. We believe every young person deserves access to opportunities that can shape their future—and we are committed to providing the guidance, support, and connections needed to help them succeed.

The Academy
Our flagship mentorship initiative connects young people with opportunities to build practical skills, strengthen confidence, and prepare for future academic and career pathways. Through hands-on experiences, expert-led sessions, and individualized support, participants develop the knowledge and tools needed to navigate education, employment, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.
The Theater
A creative and cultural initiative focused on storytelling, public speaking, theater, poetry, visual arts, and community expression. The Theater creates spaces where young people can build confidence, share their voices, and inspire their communities through creativity and culture.
Grants Program
We provide targeted grants and assistance to help students, athletes, artists, and emerging leaders advance their education and career goals. Support is tailored to each recipient’s needs, helping them access resources, experiences, and opportunities that strengthen their development and open doors to future success.
